There is a need in our community:

APFV serves over 700 victims every year with advocacy and support.

In 2015 APFV helped 320 victims of sexual assault and abuse in Walworth County. 75% were children.

In 2016, 48 families (118 women and children) needed to relocate. Local motels were the only option, and could only serve 12 families for a total cost of $5,104.

The closest shelter for victims of domestic violence is 30-50 miles away, however rarely has openings for out-of-county persons.

OUR MISSION:

To provide supportive services and advocacy for adult and child victims of domestic or sexual abuse, and to educate the community about these critical issues.

OUR Goal:

To build a domestic violence center in Walworth County by 2020 to help serve the needs of our community.
